Pluto in Aquarius and the death of the Copernicus

Weighing the world scales again!

What Inspired My Crazy Foray into the Tychos

As I come close to finishing my book, I thought I would share some of my inspiration. What started as a book about Mars and Venus cycles grew into one about all planetary cycles as a path for spiritual and psychological growth. In this video, I share some of my inspiration. It also shows how I came to the Tychos model!!

Pluto in Aquarius and the death of the Copernicus!

Weighing the world scales again!

This is the front cover of Giovanni Riccioli’s “New Almagest” in 1651

On it, he depicts the geocentric model of Ptolemy. Ptolemy believed the earth was in the middle and all planets revolved around it… The model is on the ground rolling away. Astraea (goddess of Justice) holds the scale weighing the Tycho Brahe and Copernicus’ models of our cosmos. Tycho Brahe’s model has Mars in an overlapping orbit with the Sun. The earth is still in the center. The Copernicus has the Sun in the middle and the earth travelling around the Sun. The Tychonic system wins… it’s weightier and has more substance.

Interestingly, one of the arguments for the Copernicus system is the fact that Galileo saw through his telescope that Venus and Mercury were like moons. They show moon phases as the sun shines on them from different directions. This is depicted in the top left-hand corner of the illustration with the Sun in the middle and the cherubs holding up Venus and Mercury looking like moons depicted with their glyphs. This discovery actually supported both the Copernicus and Tychos models!

I love these old illustrations because they are so descriptive… the Giant holding the Copernicus model is Argus. Argus is covered with eyes… he’s all-seeing! In myth, he was sent by Hera (which some have attributed to Venus in the evening sky phase) to protect a nymph but he was attacked and killed by Hermes (Mercury)… Argus is viewing Mercury (as the morning star) and Venus (as the evening star) with one of his eyes through a telescope; the two who were the causes of his downfall!

The Tychonic wins because of Mars, which the Copernicus can’t explain but the Tychonic does. The Tychonic lasted just over 100 years.

The Copernicus revolution took off during the last Pluto in Aquarius in the late 1700s and I predict it will roll away like Ptolemy during this one… That’s because the Tychos (updated with earth’s orbit not only explains Venus, Mercury, and Mars but also The Great Year (or what is often called precession of the equinox)!!! The Earth also has an orbit.

In my upcoming book, The Path is the Way, I go into the astrological and spiritual meaning of the Tychos, but if you are interested in the astronomical model you can check it out online. The Tychos is a free/by donation book at Tychos.space
